Instagram snapshots #3

Happy Valentine's Day guys! I hope you all had a great day either with loved ones or doing something you love!
I've been spending most of my time working over the last few weeks, hence the lack of posts, but I have been taking quite a few photos on Instagram so I haven't been completely dead on the Internet! I actually had more photos than I expected so this will be a bit of a long post!

This English coursework will be the death of me.
Hot chocolate, whipped cream, chocolate shavings and marshmallows!
Prettiest and yummiest chocolates I've had for a while!
What happens when me & mum go to the American sweet shop...
I wish essays were easier.
Caramel eclair and two peach and raspberry macaroons, yum!
Finally!!
Bought myself a treat for finishing my essay early!
Finally sorted it all out!
I love having morning frees.
Perfect boyfriend? I think so.
I could have split this into two posts but I thought it would be nice to put them all up from where I left off, plus I especially wanted the last photo on today's post for obvious reasons! Most of you won't know this but I've been in a relationship with a guy called Chris for a little while now which is pretty amazing if I'm going to be honest! He goes to my college so it's really great as I get to see him nearly every day which is completely new for me! It's also great that we share a lot of friends so yeah...I'm pretty happy at the moment!

This week's favourites!

I thought that a nice thing to start doing would be a weekly update of things I've been loving over the last 7 days!

1. This video.

My Mum showed me this on Facebook and I thought it was so odd and hilarious - I laugh every time I see it!

I love doing these types of quizzes for fun because they're nearly always accurate but I love seeing the reasons behind it! I've always been more creative so I'm not surprised at all that I got this result - it's quite ironic that I'm left handed though!

3. Red Pandas
Surely they must be the cutest, funniest and silliest animals in existence?! Every time I'm not feeling happy, I'll watch this video and it makes me feel 100 times better because it's so damn cute!

There are so many inspirational quotes on this website, I love to just go through them and read them sometimes, some are pretty great!

This link is great and I love these tips, it made me laugh rather a lot!

Extra non-internet favourites of the week
- Hot Chocolate
- Rimmel Kate Matte Lipstick in 107; I love a good red lipstick and this one is particularly festive!
- My black beanie hat from New Look; I've worn it three days this week!
- This month's issue of Elle magazine; there's great pieces about shopping the sales and how to style a navy blazer, one of my favourite pieces to wear!
- The Gift by Cecelia Ahern; I started it a couple of days ago and I'm hooked! I love everything she does and can't wait to get my hands on her new book, How to Fall In Love.

Hope you guys enjoyed this, should I do one of these every week?
Send me links to things to add into next weeks one if you want - either in the comments or via my twitter, @theadorabled0rk!

Autumn days

I'm currently sitting by the window in my college library and the trees just outside are starting to turn golden brown. Autumn is officially here and I couldn't be happier. Autumn in my books equals everything looking pretty, wooly scarves, big cozy jumpers and hot chocolate. Perfection in a season! I love the colder weather because it means getting to wear extra layers and not having to strip down to the glorified underwear that summer clothes end up being by early August.
I can't wait for every path to look like this in a month or so!
Autumn also means there's more of an excuse to stay inside in the warmth as the weather gets wetter and less acommodating. That does mean that I get to use my scotty dog umbrella though which makes me unnaturally happy, I love being outside but dry when it's raining, there's something calming about hearing the rain pitter-patting on my umbrella and having it centimetres away from me but unable to get to me.
It also means that it's just that little bit closer to Christmas which is always a great thing and I'm super excited! Christmas is my favourite holiday because people are always nicer around that time (unless you're my old tech teacher who actually had a 'Bah Humbug' Santa Hat...) and there are Gingerbread lattes in Starbucks; always a good thing for a coffee addicted student who will be majorly bogged down with work and revision by then!
Darker colours are also acceptable to wear which is also a good for my navy, grey and black orientated wardrobe. It also means I can wear darker nail polish which I've been struggling not to do for the last month.
What are you guys looking forward to about Autumn?

Snow days and university!

So college texted everyone last night to say it was cancelled today because of a severe snow warning; boy were they right!
I got a lie in today for the first time in ages, I definitely needed it! When I woke up it was white outside!! I don't usually like snow because it disrupts everything, but because college was cancelled anyway, it's awesome! I've decided that I'm spending the day in my pjs, in bed with my laptop and phone with hot chocolate, lion cereal and a film! Perfect day if I do say so myself! I do wish I had someone to cuddle with though, that would be nice. I miss cuddles though tbh, the one cruddy thing about being single D:

The view from my bedroom window, you can barely tell the pavement from the road!!!

My amazing Gingerbread hot chocolate with cinnamon and chocolate
in my Starbucks mug that I got for Christmas, its so good!!!

I just got an email from UCL saying that I've got a place on the taster day that they've got on 13th February!!!!!!! I'm actually beyond excited because the course is Ancient worlds/Classics which is the course I want to apply for at UCL when I have to choose my Unis next year!!! So if it goes well I'll know if I want to go or not!!! I had to choose from 3 workshops so I decided to pick one where I get to study Greek writing and books, and seeing what the papyrus say about culture and society of ancient civilisations which is amazing and so interesting! Today has just turned out AMAZING!!

I'm off to snuggle in my duvet, eat cereal and watch Notting Hill, I'll probably write another post later!
