My Clothes Wish List.

My clothing style has changed so much in the last couple of years and I've been creating a list of items that I think are 'essential' or 'staple' and will go with everything I own and make simple but cute and classy outfits. I also have a wish list of shoes and accessories that I want that I will put in a separate post.

1. White shirt
Pretty much the perfect casual outfit!
An obvious staple item that can be paired with anything! I love the idea of having a simple outfit of white shirt, jeans and some cute shoes in a bright colour. It's something that can be easily thrown on in the morning put looks really put together and classy

2. Pink shirt and Light Blue shirt
One of these in light blue too, please!

There's no point in putting these two separately really. It's pretty much the same idea as above but with a bit of added colour to the clothes, not just the accessories.

3. Black cardigan
Almost perfect!
It's a bit odd that I don't actually own one of these...the amount of times that I've wished that I had one is way too many to count now so it's probably time I bought one! I just need to find one that I automatically love.

4. Red cardigan
It would be perfect for Christmas!
There's a pattern forming of the same items in different colours...but I also find myself wishing I owned one like with the black cardigan.

5. Crew knitted cable V neck jumpers
I love the colour of this one so much!

I have the Bright Pink and Teal versions (colours no longer available) of this already and I love them so much! They're so soft and warm, they're my go to when I want to look put together but can't be bothered to actually think about my outfit that day. I think they're great and look so nice, all of the colours are amazing, I just want them all! The fit so well and look amazing, these are my favourite jumpers ever!

6. Red jeans

These are gorgeous!

I think a pair of bright jeans should be staple in every girl's wardrobe and I would love a red, orange or teal coloured pair. They're another item that you can put a plain top over on a lazy day and it will automatically look great.

7. Black Blazer

Something almost identical to this would be great!

Another item that I have wished I had on numerous occasions. I almost bought one from New Look about a month ago but it didn't look just right so I didn't buy it!

8. Grey Blazer

I also love the top on this.

My current clothes would go perfectly with a grey blazer! Again, I just need to find one that is the perfect mix between casual and formal.

9. White jeans

Can I have these please?

I was craving a pair all summer. I felt like normal jeans were getting really boring and I had so many outfit ideas that could include white jeans but I never had the opportunity to buy any!

10. White slouchy t shirt

I wish I could find something like this when I'm out shopping!

This would go perfect under one of my current blazers or jackets and would look great with my recently bought boyfriend jeans. It's odd that I don't actually own a plain white t shirt as it's one of the most basic staple pieces out there!

Hope you guys enjoyed this little post and it might have given you some ideas of what you want to buy in the future!

The Ultimate Lazy Jeans.

I've been needing new jeans for a while due to most of mine being too small for me now so Mum ordered me another pair of my current jeans in a lighter colour and a pair of baggy boyfriend jeans.
They are the comfiest things I've ever worn.

They're so baggy!
I wasn't completely sure about how I would style them at first because I nearly always wear skinny jeans so my wardrobe is pretty much centred around outfits that include them, not anything loose. However, I ended up finding a few looser tops that I have that will hopefully look really nice with these! I wore them to college and I felt so comfortable, they're loose but don't look scruffy so they work really nicely. I wore them with converse, a purple top and a grey long cardigan and it was so nice to not care about what I was wearing or if anything was in the wrong place because it just added to the carefree and casual aspect of the look!
They're also great for driving in because they don't get too tight if you move you legs too much and they are really light so they're just perfect!
I can't wait to explore more style ideas including them in the future; if you have any suggestions of what to wear, they would be greatly appreciated!

P.S. I can sit cross legged in them and not feel uncomfortable which is a MAJOR plus point for me as that is my go-to sitting position when at home.

Knees...

Only one day left after this!! The second look at my wardrobe!

Jeans/trousers
I pretty much live in jeans. They're comfy, warm and look good without having to do much. I like having my legs covered because it gets pretty cold when they aren't so trousers and jeans are the best things for it!

From left to right: Dark blue straight leg denim jeans from Next
Black skinny jeans from Red Herring, Debenhams
Pink 3/4 length jeans from Crew
White cropped trousers from Marks and Spencer

My blue jeans are my current go to. They look good with most things but I have to wear my light blue jeans (not shown here) with dark coloured tops.
My black jeans can either show a rocker look or a cute look, depending on the top!
My pink 3/4 lengths are amazing. They finish just below my knees and they're tight fitting so they look really nice! I love wearing them with navy and white because it just works together!
My white trousers are less tight than my other trousers, perfect for warm summer days!

Shorts
I don't wear shorts much anymore, and for that reason I only have a couple of pairs.

Left: from Dorothy Perkins
Right: from Hollister
The Dorothy Perkins pair are a good length and the roll up bottom bits are really nice because they stop them being baggy!
Despite being pretty short, even for shorts, the Hollister pair are really good for hot days and they aren't as short as they look! I love the ripped detail on them, gives them a worn and casual look that I love.

Skirts
I wear skirts a lot in the winter, it's the same as dresses! I really don't understand myself sometimes.

From the top, clockwise: Blue floral skirt from Johnnie B
White and navy skirt from Hollister
Denim jean skirt from Next
Brown, pink & purple plaid skirt from Crew
The floral skirt is really nice and swishy! It's also quite short which is nice for the summer, it also goes nicely with boots and leggings in the winter!
The Hollister skirt has layers underneath which makes it flay out a bit and I love that! It's cute and flirty and it has flower cut out details over the whole thing which is really nice!
The denim skirt is good for edgy looks with black boots or heels! For when you want to look edgy/rocker and you don't want to wear jeans again!
I actually wore the crew skirt to my college interview so obviously it can be dressed up to look smart! It can also be dressed down to look cute and girly though.

Leggings
I don't wear tights because they hurt my feet, so instead I wear leggings with skirts! They're so much warmer and they're darker than normal tights too, it's also good because you don't have to worry about flashing people as much!
Leggings are also great for when you just want something comfy to wear out or to lounge around in at the weekend.

Lounge trousers
My best investment yet. I wear these when I'm at home revising or just lounging around (hence the name) and they're honestly the comfiest things I own!
Plaid lounge trousers from Johnnie B
I love these so much, I wear them all the time when I'm at home all weekend and I just love them!!

I'll be back tomorrow for my final instalment of the four!

hmm...

You know you just get the days where all you want to do is curl up in bed with hot chocolate and a good book, then forget the world for a bit? Yeah, having one right now :/
The problem is that I really don't have a specific idea why so it's even more annoying and confusing!
I guess it's just a mix of stress about exams coming up and missing Simon again. Plus the fact that I'm sure I've failed the biology end of topic test today too, probably doesn't help :( I hate days like this, it makes everything so difficult.
I'm always so positive about everything so the bad days are hard to deal with, they're few and far between these days luckily. Just wish I could snap out of it easier :(
Sorry about the lack of blogging recently though, I've been doing loads of work and I haven't had time to blog at all, but if I've had any ideas over the last few days, I've written them down so I can make a super awesome post sometime in the near future hopefully! :)
I've also got a new thing for wearing skirts and dresses; they're so comfortable and are actually really warm! Plus they always look prettier than jeans. Well, most of the time, anyway!
Ugh, I can feel a headache coming on...it really isn't my day :(
But yeah, Classics essay plan to do for tomorrow which will be interesting....

'Cause I'm no Superman...

Just found this song, IT'S ADORABLE!!
It's called Superman - Joe Brooks
Sorry all of my posts are about songs recently, I have no inspiration whatsoever and I'm very busy with college work...Music has been getting me through it all so I guess it's relevant! :P
The song is really cute though, so is he ;P I'm not the only one that thinks that if a guy is well dressed that he's immediately more attractive, right? It just makes you appreciate it if they actually put effort in to wearing good clothes! Shirt, Jeans/chinos & decent shoes over trackies any day, yes please!
Anyway, here's a link to the song, hope you like it! :) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=otx0Bnru0dY&feature=related
